The sole survivor of Krypton—Jor-El! A striking new Elseworlds story that asks a startling question: What if Superman arrived as a father, not a child—bringing not just power but wisdom, responsibility, and science to a broken world?
Decades ago, in a far-flung corner of space, a world exploded. In the midst of that destruction, a lone rocket escaped, racing through the stars until it landed on a farm in Smallville, Kansas. When a kindly couple called the Kents investigated the fallen rocket, they discovered someone remarkable: Jor-El, sole survivor of planet Krypton!
Years pass and Jor-El adjusts to his new home. When unexpected tragedy strikes, he decides to use his knowledge of Kryptonian science to lead humanity into a brighter future. But while the technological revolution sees leaps in medicine and agriculture, some would see Jor-El's gift of aid turned into weapons of destruction.
Witness how a Man of Steel and Science saves the world in Superman: Father of Tomorrow, collecting Superman: Father of Tomorrow #1-6.
