A calm ocean. The reflection of the sun. Cool winds. For the crew of The Indomitable, it was just another hard day at work with sailors singing, oarsmen rowing, and sails blowing in the wind.

That was, until it arrived.

Like a paper boat swept down a violent current, the ship was crushed to pieces in seconds. Those who died instantly were the lucky ones, as the remaining inhabitants of the ship were stuck, given time to process what had just happened – with the infinite depth of the sea on one side and the devouring wave of the Kraken on the other.
